Experience

With a professional history that includes of a range of project types and work at boutique, midsize and international architectural firms, redteam strategies founder, Susan Stine, has developed a creative, informed problem- solving approach that unites proven design expertise with understanding of the construction process.

Ms Stine’s project experience is illustrated by the numerous projects for repeat clients, expanded contracts and national accounts. These include:

  • Designed the interior of a new 110,000 S.F. corporate headquarters. Hitt Contracting, Inc. The new building was constructed by them and many of the original concepts migrated from their previous headquarters, a project also designed by Ms. Stine 17 years earlier.
  • Designed multiple broadcast facilities for Fox Television Stations, Inc, including WOFL – Orlando, WTXF – Philadelphia, WNYW – New York City.
  • Involved in the planning of a 300,000 government headquarters. This project was a referral resulting from a 20 year relationship with a client that spans designs for her three different companies.
  • Design of seven facilities for a Mid-Atlantic brokerage firm.
  • Lead the effort to build consensus among a 500 + member owners, resulting in the majority approval on the design for interior renovations for the public spaces of the Westchester, a historic building I Northwest DC.

Ms Stine is a registered Interior Designer in the District of Columbia and a professional member of IIDA (International Interior Design Association). She has a degree in Interior Environmental Design from Ball State University and has been NCIDQ certified since 1981.

She has been the recipient of awards from IBD (International Business Designers), IIDA and Northern Virginia Chapter of NAIOP.

Currently serving on the Board of Director’s for The Westchester, Ms Stine also volunteers with the DC Humane Society.

Additionally, she is a professional artist of oil paintings and affiliated with Dragonfly Studio in Washington, DC.
